Art Instructors Brigade in Holguin Proposes Summer Activities

The José Martí Art Instructors Brigade (BJM) proposes a variety of cultural activities for the summer of 2025 in the province of Holguin. Aimed at enriching the lives of children, youth, seniors, and communities at large.

This program, which will take place during July and August, includes more than 100 initiatives. Including workshops, cultural interventions, artistic performances, and community activities. All designed to promote art, healthy recreation, and civic participation.

According to Julia Bárbara Suárez Ramírez, president of the Brigade in Holguin, the proposals include summer workshops, which will be held primarily in prioritized communities and neighborhoods. Where various artistic expressions will be taught. These spaces seek to foster local creativity and talent, with a special emphasis on young people.

In addition, cultural interventions will be held in schools, parks, and community centers. Bringing music, dance, and theater to municipalities such as Holguin, Cueto, and Antilla.

For children, special activities have been planned, such as “Playing with the Arts” and events like the “Party for a Dwarf Prince” in homes for children without family support. Likewise, interventions will be held in health centers and hospitals, bringing joy to patients and their families.

The plan includes tributes to significant dates, such as the birthday of Fidel Castro Ruz, with cultural events, and activities in plazas and parks. National Rebellion Day will also be celebrated with a political and cultural gala.

With these initiatives, Holguin art instructors not only offer entertainment but also opportunities for artistic development and community integration. In this way, they consolidate summer as a time of enjoyment and collective growth. Promoting cultural values ​​and bringing art to every corner of the province.
