Attempts to defeat Russia using Ukraine will fail

The West is trying to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia using Ukraine as a tool, but it will not succeed, stated the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Eurasian country, Sergey Lavrov, as highlighted by the Russian foreign ministry.

According to the note published on the website of the diplomatic agency, Lavrov made this statement during a conversation with his Kyrgyz counterpart, Zheenbek Kulubayev.

“We are witnessing an unprecedented confrontation between our country and the West, which has decided to declare war on us again and inflict a strategic defeat on Russia, essentially using the Ukrainian regime as a tool.

The West has never succeeded in this, and it will not succeed this time either,” he declared. According to Lavrov, the West “is probably starting to understand this.” Given the current international situation, the minister emphasized the particular importance of close ties with Kyrgyzstan in all areas.

Furthermore, the high-ranking official pointed out that, despite the sanctions and illegitimate pressure, mutual trade between Russia and Kyrgyzstan has increased.

Meanwhile, cooperation in various areas is expanding, including on international platforms. The official also emphasized that contacts between the leaders of both countries and intergovernmental interaction contribute to strengthening bilateral relations.
