The president of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, emphasized today the national unity to thwart enemy conspiracies after discussing the recent events in the country with senior officials from the Ministry of Intelligence.
Pezeshkian considered that consensus and solidarity are essential for the success of the Islamic Republic, and argued that the widespread unity among the people has disheartened enemies in face of their machinations.
The president stressed the importance of reviewing relations with citizens and stated that patience in interaction with all groups, regardless of differences, is crucial to protect the country from adversaries.
During the meeting, head Esmail Khatib presented a report on actions taken during the Israeli aggression and highlighted the continuous presence of intelligence forces in their missions during the 12 days of Zionist hostility.
It also praised the collaboration with the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In a statement, the Ministry of Intelligence described the Israeli attacks against the nation as part of a broader campaign of ‘global arrogance’ led by the United States.
The institution characterized the aggressions as a continuation of Israeli crimes in Palestine, Gaza, and Lebanon, exposing what it called the ‘hypocrisy’ of Western rhetoric on human rights.
The Ministry praised the Iranian people, the armed forces, and intelligence agencies for their resistance and coordinated response.
It indicated that Iranian intelligence forces recently participated in undercover confrontations with enemies, including spies from the CIA, Mossad, and MI6, and promised to continue dismantling foreign espionage networks.
