Hyeonhan Kang, deputy director of the Koica office, reported on the first day of the event, held at the Gran Muthu Almirante Beach Hotel in the resort of Guardalavaca, that this project aims to achieve food sovereignty in Cuba by leveraging local potentials and impacting the social and economic life of the territories.

After five years since its initiation, it allowed for the strengthening of ties between the population and production methods. Enhancing the nutrition of vulnerable groups and promoting resilience against adverse events. Which is the result of the collective effort of its participants, emphasized Etienne Labande, representative of the WFP in the country.
