The Cuban Association of Social Communicators (ACCS) of Holguin convenes the Communication Conference to celebrate the 34th anniversary of its foundation on June 23rd, 24th and 25th.
The event is sponsored by the Institute of Information and Social Communication, with the support of the Telecristal telecenter. The Holguin branch of the University of the Arts, the Cubaniquel group and the collaborative space Proyecto Luna Nueva, among other state and private companies.
José Enrique Agüero Pérez, president of the ACCS in the province, told CNA that the call is aimed at managers, entrepreneurs and specialists from all over the country who work in institutions in the areas of public relations, social network management and profiles related to social communication.
This conference will be a space for socialization of experiences and professional debate in order to promote the strategic role of this front for the development of the nation, he said.
Agüero also informed that, among the objectives of the event, the creation of skills and capacities for the solution of communication problems will be deepened, achieving them from the integral cooperation of its participants.
Natacha Doimeadiós Batista, leader of the Luna Nueva project, commented that the meeting will be an opportunity to share how, from the Red de Emprendedores and Luna Nueva. They have managed to make this movement visible in social networks and promote digital marketing strategies from the local level.
The event’s program includes workshops, panels and conferences such as “Holguin entrepreneurship in social networks: realities and challenges”, by Natacha Doimeadiós; and “Fundamentals of trademarks and other distinctive signs”, by Ms. C Ivette Elena Campdesuñer, specialist of the Cuban Industrial Property Office in Holguin, as well as exchanges with Cubaniquel specialists.
Other activities such as the graphic exhibition “They are”, in homage to outstanding members of the ACCS and a workshop for managers and communicators on updating communication systems stand out in the activities of the Conference.
The Cuban Association of Social Communicators, made up of professionals in advertising, publicity, public relations and communication, is a social group with national scope, which will celebrate 34 years of existence on June 25th.
