HostelCuba 2025 kicks off

The 5th edition of the International Hotel and Restaurant Trade Fair (HostelCuba 2025) will begin today at the Pabexpo fairgrounds until May 29th with the confirmed participation of 57 exhibiting companies from 10 countries.

Among the purposes of the event are to showcase new trends in the hospitality industry. Contribute to the development of Cuba’s tourism sector, and work on the productive transformation of the Cuban economy. As explained at a press conference by the director of logistics of the Ministry of Tourism, Michel Zamora.

At that time, Zamora underscored the relevance of the event, considered a space for exhibitors to get in touch with the Cuban market and present their products.

For his part, the director of Pabexpo, Rafael Rodríguez, informed that different sectors will be present. Such as equipment, machinery and accessories; household goods, table service; interior design, decoration, textiles, furniture and wellness; food and beverages; and technology, software and entertainment.

It is expected that 57 exhibiting companies will participate, including 42 from countries such as Canada, China, Spain, USA, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Switzerland and Turkey and 15 Cuban entities including five micro, small and medium enterprises.

As in previous editions, there will be an area for the presentation of new products and projects, training workshops, exchanges and conferences. Business rounds and an investment forum for the promotion and presentation of the Portfolio of Opportunities for Foreign Investment in Cuba will also be part of the event.

HostelCuba, which is held every two years and was formerly known as the International Salon for restaurants, hotels and tourist services, makes visible everything that is being done in Cuba and the world in the field of tourism logistics, and at the same time provides a range of tools for the evolution of tourism.
