The air terminal of Frank País García international airport in Holguin province is one of the most important borders at national level. For its operatibility, tourist destination and airport security.
The economic, productive and union indicators endorse the work of men and women who dedicate hours of labor work in terms of technical improvements, material resources, excellence in the stay of national and international passengers, security and communications.
In a ceremony held at the Frank País National Air Terminal, the Cuban Transport and Ports Union awarded the “National Vanguard” status to the following four companies of the airport system: (Cacsa) Civil Aviation Corporation of Cuba, (ECNA) Cuban Air Navigation Company, (ESPA) Aviation Security and Protection Company, and the cargo company (Aerovaradero).
The moment for the recognitions began with a posthumous tribute dedicated to Leandro Ricardo Guerrero. Who was secretary of the union bureau of the Unidad Empresarial de Base Aeropuerto Holguin, a tireless worker who passed away last April 20th, a worker who left a legacy of integrity and dedication.
His son also named Leandro Ricardo received the recognition on behalf of his father, who knew how to teach entire generations who learned from his example.
Katia Labrada Vidal, national secretary of the transport and ports union, Miguel Andrés Peña Peña, general director of that air terminal, members of the Provincial Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba and leaders handed over the four flags that accredit them as National Vanguard. A condition that they ratify for several consecutive years.
Holguin is the only Cuban province with the greatest number of labor collectives that reach this important award, and within the aviation system, four entities, adding the company Cuba Caterig as outstanding at national level.
