The state-owned MSME Tauba Holmotor is developing a project aimed at installing and manufacturing hydraulic pumps in rural and hard-to-reach communities in the province of Holguin. As part of its projects to contribute to water supply.
Daysis Denma Martínez González, legal advisor for the entity, told CNA that the initiative currently benefits 27 households in the Diez de Octubre settlement, located in the municipality of Cacocum. Which previously received service through water trucks.

In addition, Tauba Holmotor offers saccharin machines used to grind different types of grains and uses industry surpluses to make charcoal stoves and other useful items.
This MSME, formerly Empresa Motores Tauba, also supports pediatric cancer patients in the Cacocumense region.
