Israel approves new plan for total control of the Gaza Strip

The security cabinet of the State of Israel approved a new military plan. That contemplates the total occupation of the Gaza Strip and the forced displacement of its population to the south of the enclave or to third countries.

While the whole world rejects the assassinations of thousands of Palestinians. Israel’s extreme right-wing Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, affirmed that they are going to capture the enclave once and for all.

Political and military sources confirmed that the plan contemplates three main axes: the complete military control of the territory, the forced transfer of civilians to the south of the enclave and the implementation of mechanisms to encourage their forced migration to neighboring countries, such as Egypt and Jordan.

These Zionist cabinet decisions demonstrate how Donald Trump’s and Netanyahu’s governments have been planning to implement a “voluntary relocation” plan for the Palestinian population. Which, hidden behind euphemisms, consists of the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their historic territories.

The forced migration strategy that Israel intends to implement also envisages restricting the access of humanitarian aid by preventing its distribution by Palestinian organizations under the pretext that it could strengthen Hamas.

It should be noted that Israel has imposed a total blockade since March 18th, causing a total interruption in the supply of food, fuel, drinking water and medicines.

In an official communiqué, the Government Media Office in Gaza denounced that the mechanism proposed by Israel “transforms aid into an instrument of collective punishment” and demanded the establishment of a neutral and international system to guarantee equitable and safe access to humanitarian assistance.

Likewise, from the Gaza Strip, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas reiterated its rejection of the Israeli plan. Pointing out that it seeks to consolidate a policy of siege, hunger and displacement as tools of war.

Since the beginning of the military aggression in October 2023, more than 52,000 Palestinians have been killed. According to figures from the Ministry of Health in Gaza. While 90 percent of the population has been forcibly displaced, many of them repeatedly.
