The Nickel Engineering and Projects Company (Ceproníquel in the Spanish acronym). In the Holguin municipality of Moa was recognized with the status of National Vanguard by the Energy and Mines Union.
In a recent ceremony that highlighted its contribution to local development and the excellence of its workers. The recognition was presented to Pavel Laurencio, General Director of the company, and to Eriolis Vega, Secretary of the Union Bureau.
By Alexei Mejías Céspedes, member of the Provincial Party Bureau, and Carelia Fernández, member of the Provincial Secretariat of the Cuban Workers’ Federation.
On the occasion, Mejías Céspedes highlighted the professionalism and talent of the Ceproníquel workers. As well as their contribution to the economic progress of the region.
This recognition reinforces Ceproníquel’s commitment to efficiency and innovation in the nickel industry. Reaffirming its key role in the development of Moa and the nation.
Likewise, for the eighth time and three consecutive years. The Captain Alberto Fernández Montes de Oca Nickel Research and Development Center (CEDINIQ by it’s initials in Spanish) was also recognized for its outstanding results in research and innovation.
Also, for its outstanding performance in mining equipment maintenance. The Mima Workshop at the Comandante Pedro Sotto Alba Factory was once again awarded the National Vanguard status by the Energy and Mines Union.
