With the participation of more than 100 entities, the first Holguin Business Fair. Inaugurated this Thursday, promotes the creation of productive links between the state sector and new forms of management. In order to boost the region’s socioeconomic development.
This business event, which will be held at the ExpoHolguin Fairgrounds until tomorrow, aims to be a platform for exchange, training, and the generation of business opportunities, sponsored by the Provincial Government, the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba, and other institutions. Emphasized that over the three days, they aim to strengthen and increase the generation of competitive goods and services aimed at improving the population’s quality of life. For which they have available resources, human capital, talent, experience, and capacity for action.
Perseverance in work and the search for solutions, based on science and technological innovation to boost business development, are pillars of the government’s strategy. Which is realized through product portfolio presentations, brand launches, conferences, and professional advisory workshops, he noted.
The event includes nearly 30 non-state-owned businesses, such as the MSMEs Salva PC, a startup focused on advanced comprehensive technological solutions; El Cachito, dedicated to the production and marketing of dairy products; and DaSens, the only one in eastern Cuba specializing in the perfume, cosmetics, and cleaning supplies industries.
Daniel González Mayán, president of DaSens, stated that this event allows them to evaluate the market for their manufacturing lines, expand their network of buyers to other regions of Holguin such as Sagua de Tánamo and Moa. Where they did not have a presence, identify potential partners, and establish commercial links.
With representation from all 14 Holguin municipalities, accredited entities from all sectors, including communications, commerce, and gastronomy, are participating in the Fair. Among them are the Engineering Construction Company 17 (Ingeco) and the state-owned micro, small and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) Tauba Holmotor.
