Cuban President Tours International “Health for All” Fair

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel visited the Pabexpo fairgrounds in Havana for the 16th International Health for All Fair in Havana.

The exhibition, which opened in conjunction with the 2nd International Medical Tourism and Wellness Fair. It is associated with the 5th International Convention Cuba Salud 2025 and is becoming a key space for alliances that promote sustainable development.

With an emphasis on the “New Health” paradigm and a focus on equity and universal access. The President spoke with the exhibitors and inquired about the projects of Cuban and foreign companies. Joint cooperation relationships, and prospects for expansion, with the signing of contracts and other legal instruments, the Presidency reported on the social media platform X.

Díaz-Canel, accompanied by José Angel Portal Miranda, Minister of Public Health, and other Party and Health officials. Toured the stands of the companies participating in this evento. Also which promotes the exchange of knowledge, closes deals, and strengthens strategic alliances for the development of nations.

The Cuban president thanked the business leaders for their presence at this event, wishing them success in the implementation of new projects. He also praised the results and progress made in the application of science, innovation, and technology in the field of health at the international level.

At the Health for All Fair, 263 companies from 37 countries are presenting their main products and services. During the event, 55 contracts or deals were signed, confirming Cuba’s capabilities in the healthcare sector and the biotechnology industry.

China was the guest of honor at the 16th Health for All Fair, which took place on April 21 as part of the 5th Cuba Health 2025 Convention. The Asian giant is the main supplier of medicines and supplies for the Cuban healthcare system, with five medical service contracts underway.

Of the total exhibiting entities, 112 are Cuban, while China brought more than 20 business leaders to its delegation, 11 of them leading major manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, media, medicines, and technologies.
