The Business Fair “For a 26th in the 25th,” convened by Manuel Francisco Hernández, governor of Holguin, begins today and will run until April 26, with the goal of generating links aimed at the socioeconomic improvement of this eastern province.
The event, which will take place at the Expo Holguin Fairgrounds, promotes strengthening ties between entities. Creating productive chains to boost territorial progress and population well-being.
Guillermo González, director of the exhibition venue, explained exclusively to CNA that, after registration opened on April 10, 103 entities were accredited as participants, of which more than 30 are new forms of non-state management, including MSMEs and self-employed workers.
With representatives from all 14 municipalities, the Business Fair will provide opportunities for commercial Exchange. Facilitate negotiations, and create strategic alliances through legal and commercial advisory workshops and meetings with communication and sales experts, he noted.
The event also includes product and service presentations, as well as theoretical activities focused on the use of science and technological innovation for regional well-being. For this purpose, attendees will be invited to participate in invited projects that promote social development through local initiatives.
The executive added that six of the participating institutions will offer part of their idle inventories, including the Raw Materials Recovery Company, the Water and Sewerage Company (Holagua), and the Combined Sugarcane Company 60th Anniversary of the October Revolution (KTP).
