From April 6 to 10, the National Council of the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS by it’s initials in Spanish). Will take place in the province of Holguin, to discuss artistic processes and the functioning of this organization.
Debates, artistic presentations in communities, visits to historic centers and much more will be part of this day of exchange with young creators.
The AHS in Holguin organizes events such as the Romerías de Mayo, the Youth Theater Festival. The Celestino Short Story Award, Stereo G and other contests. Clubs and spaces that allow it to develop its work.
The writer and journalist Yasel Toledo Garnache, national president of the AHS. Explained to the Cuban News Agency that this will be a space for dialogue and debate. Where issues related to literature and cultural events throughout the country will be addressed.
As well as the scholarships and awards of the AHS. The work of young people, its artistic programming and the relationship with the institutional system of culture.
The AHS, founded on October 18, 1986, is a non–profit organization. Of a national nature, with cultural and artistic purposes. That brings together the young artistic and intellectual avant–garde of Cuba.
Its work objectives are related to stimulating artistic and literary creation among its members and promoting spaces. For theoretical discussion on the participation of the intellectual avant–garde.
