The Provincial Council of Social and Humanistic Sciences, in collaboration with the Territorial Delegation of CITMA in Holguin, called on all entities to present Research, Development and Innovation projects, which contribute to the socioeconomic transformation of the province.
Linked to the line of research “The management of territorial development from the Social and Humanistic Sciences“, this program seeks to promote the realization and implementation of social studies that generate applicable knowledge, as well as collaboration between science, government and local actors, in a constant search to improve the quality of life of the Holguin population.
According to the call, through the knowledge generated by the University of Holguin and its link with the community, these innovative projects will also increase the effectiveness of inclusive, sustainable and participatory community work, in order to empower community actors and a more efficient use of available resources.
According to Paul Sarmiento Blanco, President of the Provincial Council of Social and Humanistic Sciences of the province of Holguin and Head of the Program, this is a unique opportunity for those interested in contributing to the development of the territory since the approved projects will begin with their implementation from next year.
Proposals for this program will be received at the CITMA Territorial Delegation until March 30.
