Inder’s 64th anniversary celebrated in Holguin

Holguin is the scene of the national sports festival for the 64th Anniversary of the Institute of Physical Education, Sports and

Several days ago, the festivities began in this province, home of such an important date in recognition of its sports results and achievements in the programs promoted by Inder.

As part of the day for the 64 years of Inder, various competitive and recreational activities were carried out in popular councils and municipalities, in addition to resuscitation of facilities.

Today, in the surroundings of the Calixto García stadium, the main venue of the Always Young Sports Takeover, the goal arch was placed to which the participants in the popular race arrived from the Calixto García park.

Exhibitions of mountain biking, motocross, Basseball, dog sports and pioneer explorers were also part of a program designed for the enjoyment of all, an example of the work that characterizes the territory from sport for all.

As well as parachute jumps in the Plaza de la Revolución in Holguin and a sports event, with several events in different disciplines and manifestations of physical culture, around the Calixto García stadium and in the Plaza de la Revolución sports complex.

At three in the afternoon the awards ceremony will take place, with the delivery of the 25th Anniversary Seal of the Athletes Care Commission and the Rafael María de Mendive medal, to sports personalities, in the Protocol Hall of the Plaza de la Revolución Calixto García.

These activities are part of a day that has also recognized outstanding workers and sporting glories. The celebration of the central event for the anniversary, in the afternoon this Saturday, will be attended by the president of Inder, Osvaldo Vento Montiller.

For the second time, Holguin hosts the central activities for the anniversary of Inder.
