The President of the National Assembly of People’s Power, Esteban Lazo Hernández, convened the Fourth Ordinary Session of this body, during its Tenth Legislature, which will begin at 9:00 a.m. on December 18 of this year at the Havana Convention Palace.
The call, published today on the website of the Cuban Parliament, will be distributed to the deputies, the agencies of the central government, and other relevant bodies and authorities. It will also be published in the Official Gazette of the Republic and other media for general dissemination.
Prior to this, on December 16 and 17, the meetings of the standing committees of the Cuban legislature will take place, addressing important issues on the national agenda.

“Cuba did not have a more beautiful day than April 10, 1869 (…) The day of absolute generosity in the history of Cuba was April 10”, expressed the National Hero José Martí in reference to the date on which the first Cuban Magna Carta was approved: the Constitution of Guáimaro.
One hundred and fifty years after that glorious moment, the current Constitution of the Republic of Cuba was proclaimed on April 10, 2019.
