
The team of Alegres from Mayarí will defend its undefeated record against the Tigres de Báguanos, when they face each other this Wednesday 16 at the Melchor Anido Stadium in the seventh competitive date of the Provincial Baseball Series.
On this same date, within the Eastern Zone too, and two games in each ballpark, at seven inning, the squad of Leones from Frank País will face the Tiburones from Antilla, at Rogelio Herrera Stadium in Cayo Mambí; while the team of Ferroviarios from Cueto and Cafetaleros from Sagua de Tanamo will play at the Luis Alberto Rodríguez Blanco stadium. Mineros from Moa will take the day off.
In the Western Divison, the called Sultanes from Holguín and the squad of Vaqueros from Calixto Garcia will be playing at Feliú Leyva ballpark with broadcasting by Swing Deportivo of Radio Angulo; Mambises from Cacocum and Navegantes from Rafael Freyre will play at Luis Figueredo Escobar stadium of the toen of Maceo; Piratas from Gibara and Cachorritos will do it at Jorge Martín Magariño ballpark of the called Villa Blanca; and the Colosos from Urbano Noris and the Indios from Banes will play at Rogelio Pupo Ricardo stadium in San Germán.
After six competitive double rounds, the standings are as follows:

Sultanes ratify leadership in the West Zone of provincial baseball
With its two victories over the Juveniles team, the defending champions Sultanes from Holguin reaffirmed their leadership in the Western Zone of the 47th Provincial Baseball Series, in the seven inning games played last Saturday.
At the baseball field of Pedro Díaz Coello sports school, the current kings firstly won 5×2, with thrower Estiven Rodríguez on the hill, who was supported by the offensive of Ernesto Torres (2-4), and Israel Torres (1-2) with 2 runs batted in.
In the second game, the victory of the Sultanes (8-1), the victory went for thrower César “el pescao” Concepción, and the noted offensive of Jolber Naranjo (2-4) and two runa driven in, as well as Andrys Agüero and José Luis Agüero, both (2-3).
The team of Mambises from Cacocum beat the squad of Piratas from Gibara, at Jorge Martin Magariño stadium; the visiting squad grabbed the win (14-3) with Maikel Sanchez pitching fine, outstanding batting of Yosvani Martinez (3-4) and 2 runs batted in.
The second victory for Mambises from Cacocum (5-2) came with Wilber Torres on the box, who was supported by the offensive of Victor Paz and Cesar Garcia, both 2-3.
At Rogelio Pupo Ricardo ballpark of San Germán, the local sqaud of Colosos from Urbano Noris opened winning (3-2), thanks to the fine job of pitcher Víctor Ramos and the offensive of Yoendris Peña (2-3), and Arnoldis Poll, who drove in the winning run.
Then the team of Navegantes from Rafael Freyre reached the win (6-4), with thrower Yunieski “El Chiquitico” Escalona winning and the timely batting of Yoan Palacios (2-3), and Milton Martinez (2-4).
At Thelmo Esperance stadium, the visiting squad of Vaqueros from Calixto Garcia grabbed the win (1-3) with thrower Dainier Cabrera winning and Yordan Manduleys homerun. Then, an effective pitching by Dixán Velázquez (2-2) led the Indios from Banes to a hard-fought 2-1 victory.
In the Eastern Division, the teams of Cafetaleros from Sagua de Tanamo, the Tigres from Báguanos and the Mineros from Moa winning, took them stay in the qualification zone.
