The fourth edition of Destinos Gaviota 2024 Tourism Exchange convention will be held from 16 to 20 of October, in Holguín, with the fairgrounds in Playa Pesquero and Ramón de Antilla.
Organized by the Gaviota Tourism Group, of marked leadership in the Cuban tourism sector, the event will become a space to update its partners on product improvements, openings and extension projects; recover and diversify markets; entertainment; best salespeople, tour operators, airlines, hotel chains and journalists who work with the Group.
In the context of the 6th edition of the Destinos Gaviota Tourism Exchange, Ramon de Antilla peninsula will be launched as a new holiday destination, under development, with an extensive beach of crystal-clear waters and abundant white sand, located at the entrance of Nipe Bay, within sight of the paradisiacal Cayo Saetía, in the municipality of Mayari, which is considered a Protected Natural Landscape.
On the 16th and 17th, the schedule includes tours of Holguin’s hotels, tours and visits to Holguin hotels, visits and activities in Villa Pinares de Mayari and Cayo Bariay, until arriving at Pesquero Beach. The inauguration of the Professional Day will be on the 18th, followed by presentations of the hotel chains.
Also, on the 19th, the program includes a nautical excursion to Cayo Saetía, a beach party and a Jeep Safari. On the evening of October 20 at Plaza Turistica Polimita, in Ramon de Antilla, will be the official closing of Destinos Gaviota 2024 and the launch of the call for entries for 2025.
The Mercosur Travel & Tourism Magazine confirmed its participation in the Fourth Tourism Exchange Destinos Gaviota 2024. Its director, Uruguayan Julio César Debali, told Prensa Latina that the event will be an excellent opportunity for meetings between specialists in Promotion, Marketing and Sales, traders, suppliers, partners and specialized press.
He emphasized that this is an event of great importance for island tourism, which will bring together sales and product personnel from Tour Operators, Airlines and press, and a selection of the best retailers, as well as well as the top managers (Presidents and Vice Presidents) of the hotel chains that work together with Gaviota.
Destinos Gaviota is the second most important tourism event in Cuba, after the International Tourism Fair (FITCuba), which takes place on an annual average in May.
The Gaviota Group as such exhibits 36 years of hotel excellence and a professional offer designed under the motto “To live naturally” (it has 38,700 workers, 115 hotels 38,700 employees, 115 hotels, and 41,596 rooms throughout the country).
