The Food Producer and Supplier Company (Numa) from Holguín province is celebrating its 31st anniversary this October 6th, with new forecasts to maintain its production levels and continue its vanguard position in the food industry sector.
The Empresa Provincial Productora y Distribuidora de Alimentos, nicknamed Numa, was chosen to host next October 30 the nationwide event for the 15th anniversary of the Union of Workers of the Food and Fishing Industry, which will have Holguín as the host province.
According to ¡ahora! publication, Numa stands out for the fulfillment of the physical and economic indicators foreseen, the introduction of the new salary organization and the innovations to maintain active productions throughout the year and, consequently, not having interrupted workers.
In addition, the entity has rescued production centers that were inactive, such as the Numa Complex, and recently inaugurated an ice-cream factory in the municipality of Gibara, which maintains its vitality with resources obtained by the business management.
The text adds that in a context marked by the scarcity of raw materials, it has been useful to diversify its activities as a company, from the obtaining and subsequent use of endogenous resources, and the linkages with new economic actors.
