Dianelis Remedios Gorra, from Holguin, won several awards, including the Grand Award, at the “Antonio Lloga in Memoriam” Young Radio Workshop and Contest, whose 34th edition concluded today in the eastern province of Santiago de Cuba.
In addition to the highest award granted by this event, organized by the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS), she received a Citation in “Direction” and the Prizes in “Recording and Editing” and “Sound Design and Musicalization”.
Young radio broadcaster from Holguín wins the Lloga 0 Grand Prize

The young producer adds these successes to others achieved in the last months, among them, the Experimental Programs Award granted by the National Cuban Radio Festival, for her program “Los niños preguntan”, a proposal of Radio Holguin with which she concluded her university studies at the Faculty of Media Arts.
Remedios Gorra currently works at Radio Angulo and Radio Holguin, where she stands out as a multifaceted creator capable of performing in specialties such as sound production, scriptwriting, program direction, voice-over and acting.
Young radio broadcaster from Holguín wins the Lloga 1 Grand Award

The Youth Radio Workshop and Contest “Antonio Lloga in Memoriam”, one of the longest-running AHS in the country, pays tribute to an unforgettable and complete radio broadcaster: Antonio María Lloga Simón, creator of the first children’s newscast that radio had in Cuba, among many other merits.
In 2024, the event dedicated its sessions to debate on the script of staged programs and to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the station CMKW Radio Mambí from Santiago de Cuba and the 40th anniversary of the Radioarte Dramatization Production Company.
