In the premises of the Major General Calixto Garcia Iñiguez Stadium began the summer Popular Festivities for children, as part of a program of activities that will be extended until next September 1st.
The children’s cultural show that kicked off the celebrations featured the Holguín Puppet Theater, the magician Ayala, the Mónica Dance Company, the Renacer Ballet, the Zapya Duo, as well as clowns with participation games.
To the artistic proposal was added the gastronomic offer of several companies and economic actors, with the sale of malt and several modules with sweets, soft drinks, cookies and candies.
Popular festivities begin in Holguín with children’s show
This weekend’s festivities will have five areas at the disposal of the people of Holguin, located in the neighborhoods Pedro Diaz Coello, Emilio Barcenas, Lenin and the Major General Calixto Garcia Stadium, as well as the Camilo Cienfuegos Square, a place that will enhance the presentation of artistic units.
Each space will have a commission in charge of its optimal operation, in addition to representatives of the Government and the Party.
Likewise, for the gastronomic service, kiosks will be built in which the Commerce and Gastronomy Company will operate, which will be joined by all the economic actors, MSMEs, the Meat Company, agriculture, TRD and CIMEX, among other organizations that will provide varied offers.
In the night of today, August 29, it will be possible to enjoy a parade with the participation of the Comparsas de Vista Alegre and Pueblo Nuevo and the Teatro Guiñol de Holguín, initiative that will start from the San José Park and will culminate in the Camilo Cienfuegos Square, where a great show will be carried out, in which they assure the performance of a recognized orchestra of the country.
During these four days, the popular festivities promise recorded music and organs from the territories, in addition to the presence of foreign artists such as El Gallo, Carachi and Fiverson.
