A wide tour led by the highest political and government authorities of the province of Holguin took place in the capital city to check the works of remodeling and starting up of some facilities reopened for the summer season.
Among the priority tasks, and in order to comply with several demands of the Holguin population, El Mambisito playground, located in Mayabe Valley, a recreation center that had remained in the memory of those who already are gray hair today, was rescued and today it is recovered.
This park is an excellent recreational option for the youngest members of the family, who will now enjoy a renovated service with the provision of six recovered equipment decorated with children’s designs, and the gastronomic sale of ice cream, jams and candies.
El Mambisito Children’s Park, Holguín
The children there can have fun in the water area and its boats, the colorful little train, the semi-elevated fighter planes, the carousel, the flying chairs and the dolls with melodies, as well as other recreational areas.
The schedule of buses to and from El Mambisito has eight departures from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and as reinforcement, a Yutong bus and routes P-1 and P-2 are incorporated in the same schedule, but from Wednesday to Sunday.

The member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and first secretary of the highest political body in the province, Joel Queipo Ruiz, insisted on the bancarization of this facility, not only in the sale of tickets by QR code, Transfermóvil and Enzona but also in the possibility of accessing to reservations through digital sites such as the Bienestar platform.
During the tour, the completion of the first section of the swimming pool of the José Martí tourist park was also confirmed, although there are still some details to be completed and cleaned.
The delegation went to the center of the city where a new store -NIQUEL- MALTA.CON- is being built for the sale of varied and preferred light food with the peculiarity of selling only electronically.
Some bars in the City of Parks were also visited, such as El Cubanito, which offers cocktails and other drinks based on bee honey; Canchanchara, a cozy place for the summer with a new design and where its employees delight the public with refreshing mambi drinks; and “Cupido”, with a personalized offer for all tastes.
Other places welcomed leaders and directors of the Group of Commerce, such as the Mayabe tavern, located in Holguín downtown, where amateur music invites to have a pleasant time.
Finally, the stop was at Las Galicias restaurant, popularly known as the fish house, which offers services with electronic payments and reservations from the Sabor Cubano platform.
It is expected that these offers available to the population in Summer Mode, with the efforts of the Government and commercial and gastronomic entities, maintain their vitality, excellence, good treatment, affordable prices and culture of detail.
