Produced by Labiofam, a Business Group belonging to the Ministry of Agriculture in Cuba, Nutrivin and Propolina six percent are two natural products newly introduced in the province of Holguin with nutritional properties and fungicidal and antibacterial effectiveness, which will soon be marketed both in Labiofam’s shops, in health care centers and in the more than a hundred pharmacies.
According to the Head of the Department of Pharmacies and Opticians at the General Directorate of Health (DGS), Mariagni Fernández Suárez, Propolina, a tincture with bioactive substances of propolis in a hydroalcoholic vehicle with a six percent concentration, is available in the network of pharmacies and health care institutions.
It has fungicidal and antibacterial properties. Therefore, it has a recommended topical use, with a prophylactic use in those who present difficulties in their immune system.
With a time of use of up to two weeks, its use is not recommended for people with intolerance or allergy to bee products. Likewise, in the case of those who have diabetes or gastrointestinal diseases, you should consult with a physician to decide whether they can use it or not.
Propalin, nutritional supplement, Labiofam, Holguin
Also known as propolis tincture, this nutritional supplement is recognized as one of nature’s most powerful disinfectants, antimicrobial, antifungal and antiviral, which helps fight infections and skin and oral or digestive tract lesions.
This product is also indicated as a prophylactic and adjuvant in the treatment of people with immune system disorders associated with infectious or chronic processes, hypercholesterolemia, giardiasis, tonsillitis, both orally and topically. In addition to its broad antibacterial effect, propolis stimulates the body’s immune reaction.

In that sense, with a market value of 50 CUP, it is made up of bee honey and hydrolyzed bovine blood proteins, rich in proteins and carbohydrates, indicated for the treatment of anemias and is considered a restorer of nutritional states with difficulties. In the case of children, a daily spoonful is indicated and in adults also a spoonful but with two frequencies per day.
