The Paradisus Río de Oro hotel in the province of Holguín once again reaches an award at the World Travel Awards, as a Leading Resort, the only facility of the leisure insdustry to reach this high recognition in eastern Cuba.
This hotel plant, founded on December 21, 1998, in Playa Esmeralda, a few kilometers from Guardalavaca, thus adds another prize to its performance, which is awarded by online voting by professionals and Tourism Companies; guests and connoisseurs in the leisure industry.
The results of the 30th edition of the World Travel Awards reaffirm the quality of the services provided at this hotel, which achieves more than 40 percent of repeating visits, mainly from Canada, Germany, Italy and Cuba.
The Paradisus Río De Oro, in addition to achieving this award in different categories for several years, has also won recognitions such as the Gold Choice from First Choice, in 2008; the Cousin of Neckermann award, of the TTOO-Thomas Cook; the Gold Medal- 2008 of First Choice and Opinion Sites, such as TripAdvisor, in 2012 and Holiday Check, in 2013.
This time, Cuba was once again recognized as the Leading Cultural Destination of the Caribbean, among a group of competitors in 2023, including: Barbados, Bermudas Islands, Jamaica, Martinique, Antigua and Barbuda, Puerto Rico and St. Kitts and Nevis.
