Children theater group La Colmenita multiplies happiness

La Colmenita, Holguin

The charm of the children theater group La Colmenita de Cuba took over the stage of the Bariay Cultural Center to make Holguin families happy, who came in overwhelming crowds to enjoy the musical show La Cucarachita Martina (Martina, the Cuban Cockroach).

The stories, dances and songs of thsi children theater group conquered the entire audience who sang and danced along with those little bees that break the barrier between the audience and the stage; they come down to dance with the audience and the spectators go up to the stage and are part, for those magical moments, of the great beehive that spreads the honey of their affection wherever they go.

For Carlos Alberto Cremata and his children theater group, bringing joy to the public is part of happiness, as he expressed it in Holguín: “For us, the synonym of happiness is usefulness.

“We leave a memory, I have been told by many people who are now adults, who saw La Colmenita as children, that they have compared us with the circus of the time of the Republic which came to the small towns; and they have told us that they were like the circus. We are not the only ones, of course”.

Tin Cremata’s children theater group catches everyone and for them to enjoy the joy of making those around them happy is their best gift.
