Investments benefit health services in Holguín

The Prime Minister visited the Gustavo Aldereguía Lima Hospital as part of the tour around Gibara, in Holguín, where he was concerned about the seven days of delay in the work due to the recent rains, scheduled to begin providing the Emergency Services in August this year.

The workers of the Home for the Elderly of Gibara presented the improvements achieved in the premises in terms of food, furniture and living conditions and highlighted the importance of the donations made by various institutions to promote the comfort of the elderly.

The also member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba inquired about the situation of good supply in La Criollita unit, of the System Attention to Families, and emphasized that the extra sales to the population constitute the guarantee of sustainability to be able to offer food with a higher quality to the vulnerable people favored with this program.

Among the centers visited during the day were also the funeral home, the Alcides Pino shipyard and the new ice cream factory, where he was concerned about the conditions of the facilities and their operation.
