The monetary order was one of the news expected in the information announced for tonight on national television and radio, said Pavel Rodriguez, director of the Road Company of the province of Holguin, after learning the details offered by President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez about the measures to be implemented from January 1.
Actually, the population was very attentive to the content of what would be informed and with the Cuban president's explanation, these concerns are cleared up, Rodríguez pointed out, exclusively to the ACN, who as a director of an entity of the Construction sector and as a deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power for the municipality of Holguín, considers that the task of regulation will contribute to strengthen the national economy through a better use of the financial resources available in the country.
In turn, Elsa Mulet Sánchez, industrial engineer and department director of the Garbo Services Company of the Construction system in the eastern province, said that this explanation by Díaz-Canel will clear up the concerns of the people in relation to the information that has been given since previous months about the exchange value of the dollar, among other issues that are most commented on by the population.
Really when I saw that it was the President who gave the expected information, I confess I felt great satisfaction, said José Díaz, not knowing yet the topic at hand and when I went out to the door of my house in the Pueblo Nuevo neighborhood, the neighbors' expressions were totally encouraging because the official date for the beginning of the Monetary Ordering process was given as a step in benefit of the country's economy.
Angel Lopez, a graduate in Economics and a worker in the business sector, said that the measure is an opportunity to rescue the value of work in the heart of society and although difficulties may arise as the increase in prices, is undoubtedly an opportunity for economic development of the nation.
Aliuska Díaz, affiliated to the non-State sector, assessed as very positive and precise the intervention of the Cuban President that clears up, among other concerns, the existing doubts regarding the savings accounts of the natural persons and the exchange rate of the dollar.
Regarding this issue, Miriam Díaz, a retired teacher, argued that the new measures offer equal opportunities for all Cubans, without equalitarianism and always maintaining the protections for the most vulnerable, as one of the distinctive indicators of the Cuban Revolution throughout these 60 years.
