Some 400 hectares of tobacco should be planted in the municipality of Calixto Garcia for the 2020-2021 campaign, informed Martha Garcia Velazquez, who runs the branch of that solanum.
Tobacco growers from Calixto Garcia had prepared the soil and worked on seedbeds to reach top quality seeds, two necessary actions to develop better tobacco plants and continue increasing the production of one of the country’s exports.
