Russian Railways to Invest $2 Billion in Cuban Infrastructure
Today it is one of the two sugar mills in Cuba still milling, together with the Boris Luis Santa Coloma factory in Mayabeque province.
They are still producing to make the province reach the 9,901 tonnes yet to go and approach the plan.
This mill was called to go on producing because the Lopez Peña, in Baguano too, failed to go due to technical problems.
In the meantime, Holguin province is now assessing the work done this year and planting more sugar cane fields sight the upcoming season.
