Obama Decided to Close Guantanamo Prison
President Barack Obama ratified his decision to closing Guantanamo prison, located in eastern Cuba, for which he would go through the metrics with Congress despite Republican opposition.

Guantanamo has been an enormous recruitment tool for an organization like Islamic State. It's how they rationalize and justify their sick perpetration of violence on innocent people, Obama added in this city, where he arrived in to participate in Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.

We can keep the American people safe by shutting down that operation and I can guarantee there will be strong opposition to the closing of Guantanamo prison, he stated.

News media announced on November 8 that the White House would present a plan to close that detention center as a last resource to convince those who oppose to this decision in the Congress. / PL.
