Mexico's Authorities and Entrepreneurs to Cuba
Mexican Minister of Agriculture, Ranching, Rural Development, Fishing and Food, Jose Calzada, announced a working visit to Cuba, heading a business mission following a cooperation accord signed with Cuba's Food Minister, Maria del Carmen Concepcion.

The two minister penned the accord in Merida during the recent official visit paid to Mexico by Cuban President Raul Castro.

Mexico exports food products to Cuba for some 74 million dollars, while there is large potential to diversify agricultural exports to the island said the high-level official.

Minister Calzada said that Mexican entrepreneurs are interested in investing in Cuba, therefore the upcoming mission will contribute to a closer relationship between Cuban and Mexican industries.

The visit has thus far been scheduled for November 26 to 28 including meetings with authorities at the Cuban Food Ministry. / ACN.
