Sino Airline to Operate Test Flights to The Bahamas

The general manager of China Eastern Airlines, Liu Shaoyong, told Perry Christie - Bahaman Prime Minister - that his company will operate test charter flights to that Caribbean nation to boost tourism.

During a meeting in Shanghai, Christie pointed out that direct flights between the two countries could allow more Chinese tourists and investors to visit the Bahamas.

The head of the Bahaman government arrived in Beijing last week to pay an official visit and attend the first ministerial meeting of the China-CELAC Forum.
