Focused on 11 projects and in charge of Alaymis Martinez and Ritzi Gonzalez, officials of the Ministry of Agriculture, the speech included a characterization of the Cuban agriculture that covered from cultivated lands to the ability of micro-dams and machinery.
In statements to Prensa Latina, Martinez stressed the importance of the sector for food sustainability and recalled that this sector began to decapitalize as of 1990s, explaining the need to invest, so one of the way is the contribution of foreign capital.
In his words of greeting and gratitude, Cuban ambassador Herminio Lopez stressed that given the special relationships between the two countries, having this nation as a partner in the socio-economic development process is a priority for Cuba and reiterated the support to all the sides with ties with the island and those that decide to start them.
The meeting, to which the sugar industry was excluded, brought together representatives of the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam, co-chaired by the Intergovernmental Commission, Agribank, the Nhat Trang Trading Company, the Chamber of Commerce and the Centers for Research and Technology Transfer and Bovine Semen Production, among others.
This presentation joined to the promotion held here last week at the International Fair of Vietnam, in which Cuba also bid products and services in sectors such as health, food and construction. / PL.
