An artistic gala held at the "Eddy Suñol" theater closed their stay in Holguin; and was the excuse to acknowledge the Heroes of the Republic of Cuba with the Hacha de Holguin.

That was also good to grant a special acknowledgement to Kenia Serrano and Fernando Gonzalez, the president and vice-president of the (ICAP), respectively, to extol the work done by that institution in its 55 anniversary.

The ICAP delegate in Holguin, Lupe Fernandez, and her peers from the five Cuban eastern provinces were also acknowledged for the birthday.

Kenia Serrano was given the floor and extoled the huge solidarity movement deployed in Holguin province to make The Five return home.

Serrano also thanked the warm welcome given in Holguin and praised the loyalty, resistance and altruism of The Five and their families.

Antonio Guerrero also addressed the audience and thanked Holguin for all the work done.

Once a message sent by Rene who missed this visit for health problems, Guerrero stressed that The Five will never betray Cuba, the (Cuban) Revolution the Holguin people, who they will always feel grateful with and deeply committed to.

The "Rodrigo Prats" lyrical theater company which is considered a remarkable cultural institution in Holguin, presented the Cuban Five with the work The Court of the Pharaoh, one of its most successful presentations.

Good to see these anti-terrorist agents at liberty in their homeland. Sad that terrorist mastermind Luis Posada Carriles remains at liberty in Miami. Posada should be extradited to his homeland to face trial.
