Ciego de Avila Wins Cuba's Baseball Crown Again
The fierce and unstoppable Tigres of Ciego de Avila secured their second staight crown by defeating the squad of Pinar del Rio team in the seventh game of the grand final of the 55th season of the Cuban Baseball League.

This is Ciego de Avila's third championship victory, winning in 2012, 2015 and 2016. "Before going out, we told the guys to given their heart, soul and life out there on the field, to play as though it were the last game of their lives, without any individualism, and to feel as though they were better than Pinar del Río. And true to form, they put on a spectacular show," stated an excited Roger Machado, team manager.
