Holguin for the Crown of Cuba's Sugar Baseball League
The team representing Cristino Naranjo company beat by the mercy rule (13 - 3) its peer of the Ciro Redondo, from the province of Ciego de Avila, and will now go for the first time ever for the crown of the Cuban Sugar Baseball League, in its 35th season.

The winners that played at the ballpark in the town of Cristino Naranjo produce 17 hits, including four homeruns and three doubles, and made no error.

In the offence of the local squad Ruben Prieto stood out (4 – 5) with a homerun, a double and two runs batted in, but also Olexis Infante (4 – 5) with a double and a runs he drove in.

Rainel Rodriguez and Alain Garcia (2 – 3) and two walks also did it fine.

The team from Cristino Naranjo company has got this season 32 victories and has lost five matches, and finished unbeaten the provincial tourney (15-0); later, they got 14 wins and lost 4 matches in the Eastern Zone Tourney, and made its way in the semi-final 3 wins and 1 defeat.

The squad of Cristino Naranjo company will face in the Final the team representing the country's Western Division, to be yet defined.
