The holguin badminton player Taymara Oropesa, participates from Thursday until July 1st in the International Tournament of Peru, where they will face several of their rivals in the nearby Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Colombia.

In the women's single, the leader of Cuba, will have net through the second stage to the local Micaela Vazquez, while her compatriot Yeily Ortiz to the Argentinean Florencia Bernatene in the opening round.

Tay herself will join racquets with Yeily to compete against the Dominican Nairoby Jiménez and Bernary Polando in the double for ladies.

In the mix, El Guerrero will have Yeily as a teammate this time to settle in front of Nicolas Macias and Valeria Wong, and Leo and Tay will wait for the winner of the match between the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica.
