Again the young Alejandro Parra was the best located Holguin in a stage of the V National Route Classic, this time in the eighth, running from the municipality of Trinidad to the city of Santa Clara, at a distance of 92 kilometers.
Parra entered the eighth place 2:01 minutes behind the leader, the capital Leandro Marcos who registered a time of 2:41:00 hours, on a route that was affected by heavy rains.
Other highlights of the date by the Holguín athletes were Alejandro Parra's fourth step in the mountain goal located in the Seibabo River campsite, and the same result was obtained by Angel Luis Pupo at the wheel of the Algarrobo town.
When computing these times, the spirit of Joel Solenzal continues with the domain in the individual general, with a mark of 25:01:13 hours; the holguinero Consuegra is seventh to 12: 15 minutes and second in the sub-23.
In the mountain the maximum accumulator is Frank Sosa, of Cienfuegos with 30 points; Consuegra (10), is seventh, Parra and Leonel Batista (4), are tenth and eleventh, respectively.
With 46 units Guantanamero Onel Santa Clara, dominates the flying goals; Sancti Spiritus, does between the teams, and Holguin was in third.
The ninth stage will take place this Friday from Santa Clara, Villa Clara, to the municipality of Cárdenas, in the province of Matanzas, at a distance of 180 kilometers.
