"The direction of the State - said our Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro Ruz - is a very difficult thing. It is much easier to run a guerrilla, organize an army, lead an army and win a war; it is even easier to combine all the factors, develop a revolutionary strategy, see a possibility and carry it out; the political task itself and the military task is easier than the task of the state leadership. "

Today Cubans live an important moment of history, in which for the first time there will be the transit of the direction of the historical generation to deliver the flag to the new pines.

Hence, the deputies to the Cuban Parliament that constitutes the quarry for this election carry in themselves the voice of the people, as other times, in this Constitutive Session of the IX Legislature of the National Assembly of Popular Power.

Who will be the President of the Republic of Cuba? The answer lies in that man or woman who brings together the best and purest of Cubans, the deepest cleanliness of heart and the inheritance of entire generations who know that in unity, in respect for independence and sovereignty, in the exercise of the freedom to act for the public good, and in the respect of the inalienable right of every State to choose its economic, political, economic, social and cultural system, is the life of a nation.

Among all one will be appointed, we all believe useful, the millions of Cubans will be next to those who are elected, the President, the Vice President and Secretary, the members of the State Council, to consolidate the most beautiful work that has ever been known.

The new leadership of Cuba carries the mambí and rebel legacy, together with the people, in that indissoluble unity.

Do not doubt, the Cuban Revolution continues ahead, firm and victorious as our leader #Fidel taught us, to always maintain the victory because like yesterday, today we also have confidence and bravery and, above all, an invincible force to put in High the name of Cuba.
