Holguin: Provincial Party Assembly, Recount, Starting Point
People's expectations are focused on the celebration this November 21rst of the Provincial Assembly of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) in Holguin, an event that will close the process begun in the 14 municipalities of this north-eastern province, prior to the Seventh PCC Congress, slated for April 2016.
New Machinery to Boost Food Production in Holguin

This reporter has participated in several municipal assemblies, in which concerns on local problems were critically approached by the delegates attending the meetings, as well as the fighting spirit to continue on working for the better Holguin that we want.

No doubt every municipality has features of its own, economically and socially, that is why, the analysis focused on prioritized issues, and the action to go and meet the people's needs in search of the prosperous and sustainable socialism that we want to build.

No doubt the largest debated issues were food production, health services, transport, construction, the confrontation of crime, social indiscipline, and issues linked to economy, but also the political and ideological work by the Communist Party of Cuba.

Prior to the Assembly, people were given participation, that's why, 26 600 opinions were heard, analyzed and deeply evaluated.
And for the first time, the main report to the Assembly was published by ¡Ahora! weekly, one more chance for the people's democratic participation.

Now, the delegates attending the Provincial Assembly of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) in Holguin will say the last word, as the people will be waiting for the analysis to be made, the debates, agreements and goals that would make the way on the application of the Social, Political and Economical Guidelines of the PCC and the Cuban Revolution in the zeal of updating the country's economic and social model.
