During the meeting, Lazo said that in the process of improving the Popular Power one of the main aspects to protect is the delegate, his authority, prestige and principles.
"The People's Councils, constituencies and people in general are the basis of our political system, which is based on the State's relationship with the people. This should never ever fail", he added.
After knowing the state of attention to the voters' requests in the territory, the also Vice President of the State Council said they "have to be attended at the place where they originated, in the People's Council with agencies that influence voters to make them understand why the problem can not be immediately solved.
Participants in the meeting also addressed problems related water supply in the municipality of Banes, due to the deterioration of networks. Most requests (9000) reported in the province are related to that service in the municipality, hence the need to revise the 2016 Water Resources investment plan to give priority to the issue.
