Every October the 10th is celebration in San German, the headtown of the Cuban municipality of Urbano Noris, because its local station marks a new anniversary on such significant date in the country's history; and this time its staffers rejoiced at having been working for 11 years for its faithful goes who wait for every new day to listen to Radio SG, nicknamed La Voz del Azucar (Radio SG, the Voice of Sugar).
It is the youngest station in the Radio Broadcasting System in Holguin province, but its work side by side goers it is broadly followed by an audience that enjoy been portrayed in the daily program of the inhabitants of the municipality of "Urbano Noris" and other sites that can tune in Radio SG.
MSc. Milagros Rodriguez Peña, that runs the station, began working there as a reporter, when San German opened its Radio Studio, which later became Radio SG.
It might be a belated congratulations, anyhow, it goes to San German because Radio SG staffers of and its audience deserve much praise for the work done, and their sense of belonging.
Since then on, they have taken part in radio festivals and other events where they show discipline, quality and love for upgrading.
