Notes for a better education in Holguín

At the end of the 2017-2018 school years, Holguín Province shows progress in terms of preventive work in its institutions, the investments made during the period, the direction of the educational process, especially in special education and the work of staff and their reserves, said Elizabeth López Laffita, deputy provincial director of Education.
However, at the end of the stage there are still elements that are detected as difficulties and as such, they are considered priorities for the coming academic year, among them the teacher coverage and the inactivity of many professionals that this indicator also affects.

Likewise, the methodological work that has its maximum expression in the learning result constitutes a challenge to be overcome in the province as well as the elevation of the efficiency indicators in educational levels such as basic secondary and pre-university levels, the directive pointed out.
