This Friday May 18 will be in Urbano Noris the final session of the III National Event for Gender Equality, which promotes the exchange and discussion of experiences on the challenges of the gender approach and its impact in local contexts.
More than 105 papers are inscribed in the theoretical event, which represent nine provinces of the country and almost all of the municipalities of Holguín.
These will be exhibited in workshops related to health, well-being and quality of life, cultural heritage and identity, information, communication and use of technologies.
In addition, environmental and energy will be discussed, community experiences for a better life, school and family, knowledge management and sports and recreation.
At the same time students of primary, secondary and upper secondary education will share their research, in pursuit of a more equitable future.
The purpose of this event is to disseminate good practices and scientific results where the transversality of the gender approach in local development is made visible.
For that reason, and to contribute more to the territory of Holguin, this time, since April 4 they started the courses pre-events, talks, meetings with combatants, visits to rural communities, audio-visual samples and other training actions, which favor insertion of more people in pursuit of gender equity.
