From this Monday 14 and until Friday May 18 will happen the Ninth Congress of the University Student Federation of the University of Holguin, which has as main motivations the anniversaries 123 of the fall in combat of José Martí, 90 of the birth of Ernesto Che Guevara and the centenary of the Cordoba Reformation.
More than 200 delegates, representing the 169 brigades that the organization has in this High Studies Center, among other guests of the different scientific, sporting and cultural movements, will debate in the plenary session about the role of Cuban university students, heirs of the Homeland History, in the continuity of the Revolution and the improvement of Socialism.
Glessler Ramos Giral, president of the FEU at the UHO, related the main activities of the program conceived for the event, among which he highlighted conferences on Higher Education in light of his 50 years in Holguin, challenges and challenges of the Cuban musical heritage and work in social networks in defense of the Revolution; as well as conducting workshops on issues specific to the student organization, in order to define lines of work to improve their work.
Making the FEU look more and more like its members, responding to its needs and expectations in the current context, leads to necessary transformations towards the internal and in this sense the guiding documents will also be analyzed.
During these days the delegates will make visits to historical sites and activities of community projection and social impact in the head town.
