Chavez made the phrase from Pablo Neruda's verse come true, when the Liberator said: "I wake up every hundred years when the people wake up."

On March 5, the people of Holguin remembered him once again in revolutionary and familiar complicity with Fidel; they heard him speak with Bolivar's passion and the Great Homeland, they saw him extending his generous hand.

Chávez continues alive and restless; He goes around the whole America calling to awaken consciences before the danger represented by imperialism for the dreams to which he gave his life.

On the fifth anniversary of the physical disappearance of Hugo Chávez Frías, artists from Holguín paid a well-deserved tribute to the eternal Comandante who left his legacy and presence in Venezuela and in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The marketing company of music and shows, the company Ronda de los sueños, as well as students of art education, together with art instructors held a cultural political evening at the Comandante Eddy Suñol Theater to remember the great friend of Cuba.

Along with the representation of the people of Holguín, who left no space in the theater, were the Venezuelan brothers who study in our province who recognized Chávez's legacy for Venezuela and Latin America.
