Humanitarian drivers
Several people living in the municipality of Báguanos suffer from kidney failure, so they must move to the Provincial Lucía Íñiguez Landín Surgical Clinical Hospital in the city of Holguín

The referred patients receive the hemodialysis service three times a week free of charge and are transported by the drivers of the company from Cubataxi, who pick them up at their homes, expect them to be treated at the hospital and return them to their homes.

Patients and relatives have requested to recognize the drivers Nelson Escobar Totres, Hugo Zaldívar Leyva, Ariel Giraldo and José Consuegra, for their high humanism and proper treatment with patients and their companions.

Nelson has been in this service for many years, transferring the patients from Báguanos to Holguín, a job he performs with love and dedication. "You have to pick them up early, stay at the health center and return them immediately to their homes," he says.

Giraldo and Consuegra take care of the patients in the Tacajó area and have always fulfilled this task with humanism and professionalism. Therefore, they are recognized and estimated in this territory.

The will of all is that other drivers take the example of these taxi drivers and serve to others as human beings, who deserve it.
