According to Joaquin Castañer, its administrator, the cost of renovation works was about 240,000 Cuban pesos and involved entities such as the Cuban Cultural Property Fund, Copextel and the Local Industry Company, among others.
With the presence of Luis Antonio Torres Iríbar, a member of the Central Committee and first secretary of the Party in Holguin and Julio Cesar Estupiñan Rodriguez, president of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power, it was known that "El Fausto" will offer daily service, from 12 noon to 1:00 pm, on a first come, first served basis and with offers in both currencies.
