Holguin's Warm Welcome to Delegation at 7th PCC Congress

The delegates and guests that represented the northeastern province of Holguin in the 7th PCC Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) were welcomed in the nicknamed Cuban City of the Parks by family members, leaders, mass org, and people eager to see their reps.
Holguin People's Opinion on Cuba's 7th PCC Congress

The delegation made up of 76 delegates and six guests elected members of the Central Committee: Luis Antonio Torres Iribar – the First Secretary of the PCC Provincial Committee; Arelis Marrero Guerrero – the PCC First Secretary of the municipality of Mayari; medical doctor Divis Nubia Rogena Vazquez, the secretary general of the PCC Committee at the Lenin hospital; and Anabel Naranjo Paz, a professor from the University of Holguin.

Torres Iribar shared with the local media on the significance of the 7th PCC Congress; in which was ratified the goal of continuing on moving forward and reaching the prosperous and sustainable socialism that we will go on building; but also the presence of the Comandante en Jefe Fidel Castro Ruz in the closing session, where he addressed the audience, which he described as brilliant.

The PCC leader thanked the welcome given, which is a proof of Holguin people's commitment of making the Congress their own and deepening on the strategies passed in the too PCC event, in order to move forward the development of the province and the country in the economic, political and social fields.

This is what I expect from my hardworking people, enthusiast and revolutionary, in the new working stage for the PCC that starts with the conclusion of the historic 7th PCC Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), which fills us all with hope, trust and determination to meeting the goals set for the present and future of the socialist Homeland, concluded saying Torres Iribar.
